Fieldwork 2023–2024

Idescat is conducting the Survey on the Use of Time 2023–2024, which consists of three questionnaires: the household questionnaire, the individual questionnaire and the activity diary. The fieldwork begins in November 2023 and will last for one year.

If you are part of the sample, once you have started answering the questionnaire, you can log out of the application and come back at your convenience (with the same login and password), as the information is saved.

You can fill in the questionnaires according to the completion date assigned to the postal letter received and you can do it in any of the three modalities: online, by telephone or in person.

The deadline for answering the household questionnaire is, at most, four days after the date on which the activity diary must be filled in (the date is set in the postal letter you received). In the case of reserve households, a date is assigned only if we contact you.

When you have answered the household questionnaire, the individual questionnaires and activity diaries will be activated (as many questionnaires as household members aged 10 years and over).

Access to the individual questionnaires is between 4 days before the assigned date of completion of the activity diary and 4 days after. Access to activity diaries is between the assigned date of completion and 4 days after.
