The library of the Statistical Institute of Catalonia is specialised in statistical information on Catalonia. It also has an important historical collection of Spanish statistics, along with statistics from the autonomous communities. Finally, it contains a selection of statistics on the European Union and important international organisations.

  • The Institute's library is the official depository for official statistics on Catalonia.
  • The collection contains approximately 145,000 volumes, including more than 15,000 monographs and periodicals, of which 46% are current (yearbooks and in-press journals).
  • The library provides a photocopying service.
  • The library does not offer a lending service for publications in its collection.

  • Mornings

    Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. (except during August)
  • Afternoons

    Monday through Thursday, 4:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. (except from 1 June to 30 September, when it is closed)
