These statistics analyse the basic features of Catalan families using the data from census operations.
These documents compile statistical and graphic information, and they also contain a description of the most salient features. Single-family households, married couples with and without children, common-law couples, single-parent households, senior citizens and foreign households are analysed in greater detail. Finally, a series of indicators is presented that make it possible to measure family composition and its evolution.
These same statistics are also published in book form. The most disaggregated results are available in the Bank of statistics on municipalities and counties.
