The operation called Statistics on the Financing and Expenditures of Private Education gives information on the dimensions and basic magnitudes of private education in Catalonia, and it also enables this data on Catalonia to be compared with figures from the rest of Spain. This is a census survey operation that Idescat conducts every five years in conjunction with the INE, which is the entity that determines the characteristics.
In addition to the results for academic year 2004–2005, the tables for academic year 1999–2000 are also available in Excel format.
