Consumer Price Index. 12/2023

The Consumer Price Index (CPI), base 2021=100, increased by 3.2% in year-over-year terms in Catalonia in December 2023. The groups with the highest inflation have been Food and non-alcoholic beverages (6.9%) and transport (5.6%). The only group with a negative variation rate have been housing (−5.6%).

In this period, the core inflation (general index without unprocessed food and energy products) was a 4.0% in Catalonia.
